Bhubaneswar Metro Phase-1 Construction Speeds Up

The state capital's dream of elevated rapid transit is closer to reality as construction of Phase-1 of the Bhubaneswar Metro Project moves ahead of schedule. Spanning over 26 kilometers, this phase connects the Biju Patnaik International Airport to Trishulia Square in Cuttack. The project aims to reduce travel time between the twin cities to under 30 minutes, easing traffic congestion. Foundations for major elevated stations at Vani Vihar, Patia, and Jaydev Vihar are currently underway with strict environment-friendly practices.
